Put the ECRA/ESA number where people can see it

In Ontario, electrical contractors are licensed by the Electrical Safety Authority and carry an ECRA/ESA number. Homeowners are told to check it before hiring, and the ones who follow that advice are exactly the customers worth having.

Half the electrician sites I look at bury the number in a footer image or leave it off entirely. It belongs in text, on the homepage and on every service page, next to your insurance.

The services that deserve their own page
